Editor’s Note
A note from the editor.
Dear Soft Living began with a simple wish: to make a little more room for art in everyday life.
Not only the art we visit in museums or admire from a distance, but the kind that stays with us — in a color, an object, a room, a piece of clothing, or simply in the way we begin to see something differently.
Each edition starts with something worth staying with. We look closely, learn its story, and then consider how its ideas, colors, materials, and character might quietly travel into daily life.
This is not about turning art into decoration, or filling our lives with more things. It is about noticing more carefully and choosing more thoughtfully.
I hope Dear Soft Living can be a place to slow down, discover something beautiful, and carry a little of it with you.
Warmly,
Kelly
